The New Homes Quality Board Glossary of the terms used in the Code and Guidance, published by The New Homes Quality Board in 2021, defines new home/s as: ‘the new-build, or newly converted property (including its gardens, boundary, fencing, communal areas and curtilage) sold by the Developer as stipulated in the Contract of Sale and purchased by the Customer for their own occupation.’
